The academic word of the week is “reflect.” “Reflect” is a verb that means to think about, ponder, or share after careful consideration. Here it is in a sentence: My math teacher asked me to reflect on my test score and figure out how I might do better on the next test.

Good morning Roadrunners! Our lines have now moved! Over in the MPRoom we’ll be serving tacos. In the Snackbar, the first 2 windows nearest the locker rooms will serve pizza. The two lines nearest the student store will have the rice bowls or chili entres`. Come enjoy!

 

Attention all students! The machines on campus no longer sell Gatorade. There are now 3 different flavors of juice for you to choose from!

 

Asian club will not meet this coming Monday since it is the last Monday of the month.  Dancers, we will practice for the dance this Monday, don’t be late.

 

It's the last day of the Kids Can drive! Which homeroom has the most cans? Ms. Walker? Ms. Hoff? Ms. Bazlen? The Office? We'll find out who the winner is in just a couple days!

 

Pom Poms are here and just in time for the volleyball assembly and rally in a few weeks.  They are $1.25 each at the Student Store.

 

Get your yearbook now while it's $32.  The cost goes up after Thanksgiving to $35, and Cris Medina, our business manager says there are only 48 books left.

 

RUTTER ARTIST WINS CONTEST! Quyen Nguyen won the district wide stay in school  poster contest with her winning design that illustrates “If you want to pass, stay in class!”.  Her poster will be featured online and on the walls of all the schools in the district and  she will be honored at the Elk Grove School District board meeting .  Say congrats when you see Quyen.

 

Today is the last spirit day of the month!  It's a tight race this month, so I hope you remembered to wear your spirit gear!
